The heat can be used to heat homes, businesses and even run large farms or provide energy for greenhouses. The constant source of geothermal energy comes with a number of benefits and a number of concerns. These pros and cons mostly relate to environmental issues, overall cost and reliability. In terms of environmental effects, the impact of geothermal energy has more benefits than disadvantages. Geothermal facilities do not emit any emissions and on the whole, these factories take up far less space than any gas plants that are used for the same process. This is because the facilities do not require any underground pipelines to distribute fuel. Essentially geothermal energy is a universal contributor to a cleaner, safer and healthier environment. On top of the environmental benefits, geothermal plants are not only more efficient but are also very reliable. The system is much simpler all around and there are a lot less problems that can occur in maintaining the facility. Many car owners were having a difficult time coping with their inflated energy expense bill. Many chose to leave their vehicle at home and use the public transportation to commute. Gasoline driven cars are known for its inefficiency. Because of that, many car enthusiasts are converting their automobile to run on alternative energy source such electricity. For the time being, a new electric vehicle (EV) from a manufacturer is quite expensive. Alternatively, a gas driven car can be retrofitted into an EV via an electric car kit. The idea is to remove the internal combustion engine and replace it with an electric motor. When the engine is gone, all its connecting components such as gas tank, fuel lines, radiator, fuel pump, exhaust pipe etc are redundant therefore to be removed as well. To generate torque, the electric motor is bolted to the existing transmission unit. Usually, an electric car conversion kit will come with a metal joining plate and shaft coupler. To supply power to the motor, a series of deep cycle batteries are used. To save cost, you can use recycled or reused batteries from golf carts. An electric vehicle will require at least 10 to 15 units of batteries. On a full charge, the EV is capable of covering approximately 100 miles. The full extent of the mileage will depend on the power of the motor, weight of the donor car, charging state of the batteries and the driving condition.
